Thank you for joining us this season!
The Scroll is a weekly email service that collects information about young adult events and programs happening around the Archdiocese of Seattle and sends that information on to hundreds of young adults seeking to deepen their faith and connect with a faith community.
Events and programs published in The Scroll must promote and align with mission and vision of young adult ministry for the Archdiocese of Seattle. (see below for this mission and vision statement)
Events must be hosted by our partners in ministry who support and promote the mission of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Seattle.
Preference will be given to events that have a specific plan or objective to include or lift up young adult participation.
Submit Your Event Here:
What is the deadline for submitting an event?
To have your event included in the upcoming Monday newsletter, be sure you submit your event the Wednesday prior by 12:00 noon.
Help! I have a reoccurring event. Do I have to enter the information for this event each week? Each month?
If your event happens as often as once a month with no changes in title/topic/theme, location, place, time, contact person, etc. Then you can indicate in your submission in the comments section that this event happens every Monday or every Thursday, etc. and we will include it each week or month. If you have a reoccurring event that happens less often than once a month we ask that you submit event details each time you want it publicized.
With an Archdiocese that spans 24, 814 square miles, includes 144 parishes, serves 579,000 registered Catholics, and has very few parishes with full time or part time Young Adult Ministers, we have found that creating networks of young adult leaders and parish staff members responsible for young adult ministry is an effective way to serve the young adults of Western Washington. We have matched up adjacent deaneries and created regions in which there are opportunities to gather for sharing best practices, working together to serve young adults, and to grow in formation and leadership.
